Affair recovery

An affair can shake a relationship at its core. It often brings intense emotions, confusion, anger, fear, and a loss of trust that can feel overwhelming.

Recovery is possible, but it requires structure and guidance. This process follows three phases: Atone, Attune, and Attach. First, the partner who had the affair takes responsibility and brings clarity to what happened. Then the focus shifts to rebuilding connection and closing the gap that formed in the relationship. Finally, the couple works toward rebuilding trust, intimacy, and a new foundation moving forward.

Some couples try to handle this on their own, but unresolved issues often resurface later. Working through it properly helps prevent long-term damage and gives the relationship a real chance to heal and grow stronger.
