Skill training is a focused, hands-on extension of couples therapy, typically done in longer sessions. Instead of just talking about problems, you actively practice new ways of communicating and responding to each other in real time.
These sessions focus on communication, conflict repair, emotional connection, and rebuilding intimacy. You’ll learn how to listen to understand instead of react, how to handle disagreements without escalation, and how to reconnect after things go wrong.
This work is interactive. You are not just learning concepts—you are practicing them during the session so they actually stick. The goal is to leave each session with tools you can use immediately at home, in your real-life situations.
